Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of pipeline welding engineering for large-scale energy projects.
  • Develop, review, and approve welding procedures, specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to welding teams and project staff.
  • Ensure stringent compliance with international welding codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee material selection, joint design optimization, and welding equipment specification.
  • Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for welding-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pipeline welding engineering, preferably within the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of various welding processes, materials, and non-destructive testing methods.
  • Strong understanding of international welding codes such as API 1104, ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive and work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced project environment.
