Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage piping engineering activities for assigned projects, focusing on material selection and stress analysis.
- Develop and review piping specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping designs with overall project objectives.
- Participate in design reviews, hazard assessments, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in piping design, material specification, and stress analysis, preferably in the oil & gas, chemicals, or resources industries.
- Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g., Caesar II, AutoPipe, PV Elite).
- Thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex engineering tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
