Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage piping engineering activities for assigned projects, focusing on material selection and stress analysis.
• Develop and review piping specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping designs with overall project objectives.
• Participate in design reviews, hazard assessments, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in piping design, material specification, and stress analysis, preferably in the oil & gas, chemicals, or resources industries.
• Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g., Caesar II, AutoPipe, PV Elite).
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex engineering tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
