Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement process, from requisition to order placement and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Support the negotiation of favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
  • Prepare purchase orders and track their status.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Assistant or in a similar role (2 years+ preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
