Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency within the life science and STEM sectors.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for goods and services effectively.
  • Lead the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and qualification to contract execution and management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers and market opportunities to enhance the supply chain network and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, ideally within the life sciences or STEM industries.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global, diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
