Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency within the life science and STEM sectors.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for goods and services effectively.
- Lead the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and qualification to contract execution and management.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs and requirements.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers and market opportunities to enhance the supply chain network and capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, ideally within the life sciences or STEM industries.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global, diverse team.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
