Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing activities for new projects and product development.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality targets.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure a robust and reliable supply base.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align on project requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify cost reduction opportunities, and manage risks.
- Proficiency in supply chain management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Czech or other European languages is an advantage.
