Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychological support and counseling to beneficiaries affected by crises or social challenges.
• Conduct mental health assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans.
• Facilitate psycho-education sessions and group therapy activities for various target groups.
• Collaborate with local community leaders and health professionals for integrated interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions and adjust as needed.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare comprehensive reports on activities and progress.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a psychologist, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Strong proficiency in psychological assessment tools and various therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in French and Haitian Creole is required; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
