    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform vendor research and selection to enhance profitability and reduce operating costs.
    • Maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and supervise vendor activities.
    • Coordinate quality matters and engineering changes between company activities and suppliers.
    • Review purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts.
    • Utilize quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and perform inventory management.
    • Manage purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase inventories.
    • Coordinate with warehouse team to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
    • Conduct ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.

    Requirements

    • Min. 2-3 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role.
    • Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Masters’ degree in business administration.
    • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
    • In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management system.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
