Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for glass manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality specifications and identify areas for process improvement.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, investigate root causes of defects, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate effectively with production, research & development, and supply chain teams to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and comprehensive documentation for management review and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Science) or a closely related technical field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in glass, ceramics, or a similar heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
