Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced quantitative models for energy market analysis.
- Conduct in-depth research and analyze complex datasets to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Design and rigorously backtest innovative trading strategies for various energy commodities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate quantitative models into production systems.
- Continuously monitor model performance and recommend adjustments to optimize prediction and trading results.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, academic research, and technological advancements in quantitative finance and energy.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in a quantitative field such such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, with experience in numerical libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale datasets, data manipulation, and database management.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex quantitative concepts to diverse audiences.
- Mid-Senior level experience in quantitative research, data science, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the energy or financial sectors.
