Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for projects.
- Manage tender documentation, analyze bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify completed work for payment.
- Administer contracts, identify and value variations, and manage claims to optimize project profitability.
- Provide expert financial advice and support to project managers and clients.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in agricultural or landscape contracting.
- Strong understanding of contract law, FIDIC contracts, and local regulations.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
