Key Responsibilities
- Manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
- Undertake cost analysis for project work, preparing tender and contract documents.
- Perform risk and value management and cost control during projects.
- Advise on procurement strategy, assisting in establishing a client's requirements.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and advise on project budget.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring fair pricing and contract compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction, oil, gas, or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, contract administration, and project financial management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred.
