Key Responsibilities

• Manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial feasibility to final accounts.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost planning, and value engineering exercises for new developments.
• Prepare comprehensive tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and specifications.
• Perform regular valuations of work in progress, cost control, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advise clients on procurement strategies, contractual matters, and resolution of disputes.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within a design consultancy.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant software for cost estimating, measurement, and project management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
