Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Undertake cost analysis for project work, provide estimates, and assist in establishing budgets.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle for various infrastructure projects.
- Value completed work, prepare interim valuations, and arrange payments to contractors.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecast final costs, and manage project cash flow.
- Advise on contractual claims and disputes, ensuring adherence to project agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including MS Office Suite and cost estimating software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural team environment.
