Job Overview
Thorlabs, a global leader in photonics equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Queue Control Specialist to join its logistics team in Bergkirchen, Bavaria. In this role, you will manage daily shipping orders, coordinate with global sales teams and carriers, and provide hands-on support in warehousing operations. This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented professionals with strong ERP and organizational skills to contribute to the efficient flow of goods in an international environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Release and coordinate daily shipping orders.
- Communicate with global sales teams and shipping carriers.
- Support pickers and packers with operational issues.
- Process and resolve outstanding clarification cases.
- Handle intercompany order placements.
- Provide support in goods receipt and dispatch operations when needed.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship in business administration (e.g. Industrial Clerk) or equivalent qualification.
- Good German and English language skills (spoken and written).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft D365).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Conscientious, reliable, and highly organized working style.
- Strong multitasking ability and hands-on mentality.
