Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ranger duties to support the City’s operations.
- Engage with the community to promote understanding and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Assist in the management and protection of local natural and cultural heritage sites.
- Respond to public inquiries and complaints related to ranger services.
- Conduct patrols and inspections as required to ensure public safety and amenity.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the City’s social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for community engagement.
- Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and environmental management practices.
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor duties in varying conditions.
