Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions for the assigned regional operations.
  • Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to provide financial insights and operational support.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a regional capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
