Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with energy market regulations across all operational jurisdictions.
  • Provide expert legal and regulatory advice on electricity trading, renewable energy projects, and asset management.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in international energy law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Support legal due diligence for new market entries, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage regulatory filings, reports, and communications with relevant governmental authorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Regulatory & Compliance Counsel, ideally within the energy or tech sector.
  • Strong understanding of international energy regulations, trading laws, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, legal research, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage complex legal challenges, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant legal degree (e.g., JD, LL.M.) and professional qualifications.
