Job Overview

Tamara is hiring a full-time, on-site Regulatory Reporting Officer in Dubai to support regulatory reporting and tax compliance across GCC operations. You’ll assist with IFRS/local GAAP filings, prudential reports, and end-to-end tax (corporate, VAT, withholding), partnering with Compliance, Legal, auditors, and authorities to safeguard financial integrity and strengthen Tamara’s standing with regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and filing regulatory reports under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Support timely prudential reporting and submissions in collaboration with Compliance.
  • Own elements of tax compliance: CIT, VAT, WHT—calculations, filings, payments.
  • Assist with monthly/year-end tax provisions and e-invoicing compliance.
  • Help utilize double tax treaties where applicable.
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal controls for statutory/tax workflows.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and government authorities; partner with internal Legal/Compliance.

Requirements

  • ~3 years’ experience in financial/regulatory reporting and tax (fintech, bank, or Big 4 preferred).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and GCC tax regs (CIT, VAT, WHT).
  • Advanced Excel; ERP experience preferred (NetSuite a plus).
  • Pursuing CPA/ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; strong communication and stakeholder skills.
