Job Overview
Mirage is hiring a full-time, on-site Resident Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee construction for a prestigious development (villa / hotel / infrastructure). You’ll lead site supervision, quality and safety compliance, program control, and stakeholder coordination to deliver high-end assets on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site supervision for villas/hotel/infrastructure works; enforce drawings, specs, and standards.
- Monitor quality (QA/QC), health & safety (HSE), and environmental compliance; conduct inspections and sign-offs.
- Track schedule and progress; mitigate risks, variations, and delays; escalate issues promptly.
- Coordinate design clarifications/RFIs with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Review method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Lead site meetings; issue site instructions/NCRs; verify measurements and support payment certification.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting, records, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer on hotel, tower, infrastructure, or luxury villa projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural & architectural works; proven multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Proficient in site supervision, documentation, and reporting; GCC experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, decisive, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
