Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the civil engineering aspects of Overhead Line (OHL) projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, including progress monitoring and quality control.
- Review, evaluate, and approve contractor’s submissions, method statements, and work plans.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal design teams to facilitate project progress.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, address technical issues, and provide solutions during construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Extensive proven experience as a Resident Engineer, specifically with Overhead Line (OHL) infrastructure projects.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant local and international engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Registration with a recognized professional engineering body is highly preferred.
