Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive risk education sessions to displaced communities.
- Identify and assess protection risks faced by vulnerable populations.
- Develop and adapt educational materials suitable for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with community leaders to ensure effective outreach.
- Monitor and report on the impact of risk education activities.
- Ensure all activities adhere to DRC’s humanitarian principles and standards.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and safeguarding policies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with vulnerable groups.
- Ability to work effectively in a challenging and multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing contexts and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in local languages relevant to Afghanistan is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in community engagement or education roles is a plus.
