Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
- Organize and deliver safety training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably within engineering consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct effective safety training and present findings.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
- Relevant safety certifications are highly desirable.
