Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor comprehensive EHS policies and procedures within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver effective EHS training programs for all personnel.
• Ensure strict adherence to local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all EHS activities, inspections, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an EHS Officer, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Possession of valid professional EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely).
• Thorough knowledge of relevant EHS legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills to effectively manage safety programs.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond promptly to emergency situations.
