Job Overview
Alliance Shipping is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead our Dubai-based team and accelerate revenue across the UAE and selected international markets. You will design and execute the sales strategy, cultivate enterprise relationships, and collaborate with marketing and operations to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions that meet client needs. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy leader who thrives on building pipelines, coaching teams, and closing complex deals in a fast-moving logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory and account strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the Dubai sales team; establish KPIs, cadence, and pipeline hygiene.
- Identify and win new business with key accounts across UAE and other regions; expand wallet share with existing clients.
- Build senior-level relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, and strategic partners; represent the brand at industry events and trade shows.
- Own forecasting and reporting (monthly/quarterly), providing insights on market trends, competitor moves, and pricing.
- Align with marketing, product, and operations on campaigns, value propositions, and solution design.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, local laws, and company policies; uphold contract and pricing governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3–5+ years in sales leadership/management, preferably in Dubai and within logistics/shipping or related B2B sectors.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and leading teams to consistent quota attainment.
- Strong negotiation, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus); valid UAE driving license preferred.
