Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and scale-up robust downstream purification processes for biopharmaceuticals.
- Design and execute experiments using chromatography, filtration, and other separation techniques.
- Perform in-depth data analysis, interpret results, and provide clear recommendations.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions in a GMP environment.
- Generate technical reports, presentations, and process documentation for regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with upstream, analytical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless process transfer.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in downstream process development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in various purification techniques, including affinity, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction chromatography.
- Experience with process scale-up, tech transfer, and working under GMP guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to experimental design and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
