Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with local Egyptian accounting standards, IFRS, and company financial policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and forecasting for project management and decision-making.
• Mentor, train, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting laws, tax regulations, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
