Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex actuarial calculations and analyses related to product pricing and reserving.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new insurance products.
- Assist in risk management activities, including solvency assessments and capital modeling.
- Prepare detailed actuarial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international actuarial standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, finance, and sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Significant progress towards an internationally recognized actuarial designation (e.g., FSA, FIA, ASA).
- Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., Excel, VBA, R, Python).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
