Gildan is seeking a Senior Analyst, SOX Compliance to join their team in Christ Church, Barbados. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and executing SOX compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive SOX compliance testing and validation processes.
• Perform detailed risk assessments to identify potential control deficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with internal audit teams and external auditors during reviews.
• Develop and implement robust corrective action plans for identified control weaknesses.
• Prepare accurate and insightful compliance reports and presentations for senior management.
• Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and best practices related to SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of the COSO framework and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
