Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive SOX compliance testing and validation processes.
- Perform detailed risk assessments to identify potential control deficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with internal audit teams and external auditors during reviews.
- Develop and implement robust corrective action plans for identified control weaknesses.
- Prepare accurate and insightful compliance reports and presentations for senior management.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and best practices related to SOX compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or public accounting.
- Strong understanding of the COSO framework and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
