    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services for DualEntry’s AI-native ERP platform.
    • Implement high-performance solutions for processing complex financial data and high transaction volumes.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities.
    • Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of critical backend systems and infrastructure.
    • Contribute to strategic architectural decisions and the overall technology roadmap for the platform.
    • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and best practices within the team.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
    • Strong proficiency in modern backend programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
    • Extensive experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and designing distributed systems.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture.
    • Understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, or ERP concepts is a significant advantage.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
