Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable big data pipelines and platforms.
- Implement data solutions using various big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate data engineering solutions with advanced analytics models.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all big data ecosystems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Big Data Engineer, working with large-scale data processing systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Extensive experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance data architectures.
