Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust cost control procedures and systems for various projects.
- Monitor project expenditures, track actual costs against budgets, and analyze variances effectively.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections for management review.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend proactive corrective actions to ensure budget adherence.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Perform value engineering and comprehensive cost-benefit analysis on project elements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a cost control role, preferably within large-scale construction or energy projects.
- Proficiency in cost control software and strong command of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work effectively and manage priorities in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
