Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using various technologies.
- Build and maintain robust data infrastructure to support large-scale data storage and processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
- Implement best practices for data governance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to team’s technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
