Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Jobgether’s data platform and engineering initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust data pipelines, warehousing, and analytics infrastructure.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the data platform to support product features and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with product, AI, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance, quality, and architecture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director role.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling complex data platforms in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka), and various database systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop diverse teams.
  • Experience working in remote-first company environments and with global teams is highly advantageous.
