Key Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design and engineering of high-voltage substations from concept to completion.
• Ensure all substation designs comply with international standards, local regulations, and client specifications.
• Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and protection schemes.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct thorough technical reviews and approvals for all design documents and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in high-voltage substation design and engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in power system analysis, protection coordination, and control systems.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a diverse team environment.
