Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements and reports.
- Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and local regulations.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Manage internal and external audit requirements effectively.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, preferably within the MENA region.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or GAAP.
- Proficiency in financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
