Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and financial planning.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management to optimize performance and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards (SNC) and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal.
