Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute comprehensive internal audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice on governance, risk, and compliance matters to management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit function.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the logistics, ports, or government sectors.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards (e.g., IIA, ISACA) and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and report writing abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) highly preferred.
