Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on front-end projects, proposals, and operational matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex contracts and agreements in the energy sector.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with project execution and daily operations.
  • Support internal stakeholders on diverse legal issues, disputes, and compliance matters.
  • Monitor and advise on industry-specific legal developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a legal counsel, preferably within the energy, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract law, commercial transactions, and project finance.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural team in a demanding environment.
  • Admitted to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
