Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide expert legal advice and support on various financial services and equipment finance matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks effectively.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
• Oversee relationships with external counsel and manage legal budgets efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a litigation specialist or attorney, preferably within the financial services or equipment finance industry.
• Strong understanding of legal principles related to commercial law, contract law, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
