Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of piping systems and layouts for assigned projects.
- Perform complex piping stress analysis and material selection.
- Ensure all piping designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping designs with other engineering disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Oversee the preparation of piping deliverables including drawings, specifications, and MTOs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, SP3D, PDMS, Caesar II).
- Strong understanding of international piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.1).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
