Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of complex procurement packages for major energy projects.
  • Manage supplier relationships and conduct rigorous contract negotiations to secure optimal terms and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure all package management activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and internal company policies.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of package management, from initial requisition and vendor selection to final close-out.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, project management, and legal teams to proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide expert guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship to junior package management staff.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in package management, procurement, or supply chain within the oil & gas or energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex international projects.
  • Strong contractual and commercial negotiation skills with a deep understanding of relevant terms and conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural project environment.
