Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of chemical processes for biopharmaceutical products.
- Design and execute experiments to improve yield, purity, and efficiency of synthetic routes.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve process challenges.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
- Ensure compliance with GxP regulations and internal safety standards.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of process development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and process scale-up.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, NMR) for characterization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GxP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
