Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) products.
  • Conduct technical analysis, prototyping, and testing of BESS components and integrated systems.
  • Ensure product compliance with international standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support for BESS deployment and field operations.
  • Contribute to strengthening local capacity in sustainable energy solutions within emerging economies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Engineer, specifically with Lithium BESS or related energy storage technologies (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong background in electrical engineering, battery chemistry, or power electronics.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certifications for BESS products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex technical environments.
  • Commitment to sustainable development goals and working in emerging economies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a temporary, project-based engagement.
