Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) products.
- Conduct technical analysis, prototyping, and testing of BESS components and integrated systems.
- Ensure product compliance with international standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support for BESS deployment and field operations.
- Contribute to strengthening local capacity in sustainable energy solutions within emerging economies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Engineer, specifically with Lithium BESS or related energy storage technologies (5+ years preferred).
- Strong background in electrical engineering, battery chemistry, or power electronics.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certifications for BESS products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex technical environments.
- Commitment to sustainable development goals and working in emerging economies.
- Ability to work effectively in a temporary, project-based engagement.
