Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design for innovative mass timber and solid wood construction projects.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, architects, and project managers.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development within the team.
- Participate in research and development of new timber construction methods and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural design, preferably with timber/mass timber.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of European building codes and design standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and international team environment.
