Job Overview

AG&P LNG, a global leader in LNG distribution and infrastructure development, is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of Finance to join its Dubai office. This senior strategic leader will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, investment structuring, and commercial decision-making across AG&P’s international LNG portfolio. The role requires proven expertise in project finance, debt structuring, and financial governance for large-scale energy projects.

Job Responsibilities

Project Investment & Structuring

• Lead financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis for LNG terminals, pipelines, and downstream projects.
• Structure and evaluate project investment vehicles (SPVs, JVs, asset financing).
• Negotiate shareholder agreements and term sheets with investors.

Financing Strategy & Execution

• Design and implement project financing strategies, including debt syndication and ECA-backed funding.
• Manage financing due diligence and oversee external advisors.
• Drive project financial close and ensure covenant compliance.

Commercial Financial Leadership

• Support commercial teams in off-take agreements, pricing models, and LNG sales contracts.
• Evaluate commercial agreements and impact on project returns.
• Provide financial insights for negotiations with EPCs and suppliers.

Corporate & Business Planning

• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare board reports, investor presentations, and financial packs.
• Align project metrics with group-level capital allocation.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Implement strong financial governance and reporting systems.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory adherence across jurisdictions.
• Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA is highly desirable.
• 15+ years’ experience in project finance, investment banking, or infrastructure finance.
• Proven track record in LNG, oil & gas, power, or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in debt raising, project close, and commercial structuring.
• Advanced financial modelling and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
