Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians during assigned shifts, ensuring optimal performance.
- Oversee all aircraft base maintenance activities to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate efficiently with various departments to optimize maintenance schedules and resource allocation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Implement and enforce robust safety protocols, fostering a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
- Provide mentorship and continuous training to junior staff, supporting their professional development.
Requirements
- Proven extensive experience in aircraft base maintenance within a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., GCAA, EASA, FAA) and comprehensive maintenance procedures.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for effective team management.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple critical tasks simultaneously.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications in aircraft maintenance and repair.
