Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
• Manage the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, ensuring all hazardous work is properly authorized and controlled.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide comprehensive safety briefings for operational teams.
• Liaise effectively with various departments and external contractors to integrate work schedules safely.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all SIMOPS and PTW processes and procedures.
• Offer expert guidance and support on safety procedures, regulations, and best practices to all personnel.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SIMOPS coordination and the effective management of Permit-to-Work systems, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and international standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective team collaboration.
• Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple concurrent operational activities.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable for this role.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are an advantage.
