Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services for Uber’s Catalog Platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in relevant programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define and deliver new features.
• Ensure the high availability, performance, and reliability of critical backend systems.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal impact on user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Python, C++).
• Experience with designing and building large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
