Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud to prospective and existing clients in South Africa.
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs and use cases.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and design effective data solutions.
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and technical evaluations for potential customers.
• Act as a trusted advisor, addressing technical challenges and demonstrating the value of Snowflake’s platform.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and Snowflake’s product roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role within data warehousing, cloud, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for data technology and a problem-solving mindset.
