Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in port operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive HSE reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HSE Specialist, preferably within port or maritime environments.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and local UAE regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to conduct effective HSE training and incident investigations.
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
